When taking any medication, it’s important to follow up with your doctor on your progress to make sure you’re reaching your treatment goals.

Once you begin your multiple sclerosis (MS) relapse treatment, it’s important to take note of your symptoms and whether or not they seem to be improving. If you feel your treatment is not working the way you’d like, or if it’s difficult to tolerate, contact your doctor immediately. It’s better to let your doctor know how things are going in case an adjustment needs to be made, rather than to say nothing at all and prolong your recovery.

Tracking Your Symptom Improvement

There are tools available to help you keep track of your symptoms day-to-day during treatment. By tracking your MS symptoms every day, you and your doctor can easily tell if they are improving, worsening, or staying the same and decide if an adjustment is necessary.
